The coalescence of several tiny rural towns were the genesis of Hollandus Landing.
These villages West of Kenosha County and East of Green County came together.
It was for the same reasons.
Economy.
Tourism.
Education.
Notoriety.
Although dwarfed by Milwaukee and Madison, it was still “on the map” in the mainstream American zeitgeist.
It even dethroned Green Bay’s number three spot in terms of population.
But what made Hollandus Landing so attractive to get people moving there?
Tempting indeed…. La, though, now I feel an urge to finger the lines with my corrective “pen” and tweak minor whatevers into “shape.” Dis is fun, it is. Thank you for sharing.
