“What made you interested in Edmunston?” I inquired of Regis.
“He always does what’s right and is willing to fight for his homeland.” Regis confidently explained his position.
How could he be like that? Has Regis really read the book and realized his fate in the final act? I wanted to argue, but I couldn’t bring myself to quarrel with a child.
“Edmunston is a great fighter and I want to be the one to fight against evil.” Regis proclaimed.
“Sure. I understand, but just make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons. You don’t want to make a big mistake like him.” I calmly challenged his position.
“Will do, Mr. Wheeler.” I handed Regis his autographed copy of my book.
I hope he heeds my words. It would be a doggone shame if anyone missed the point.
