We interrupt your regularly scheduled blogging to give you this special report.
I will be hosting an event at the Gail Borden South Elgin Branch Library to talk about Camp NaNoWriMo. I’ll be participating in this event for the July session. I’ll be talking about the NaNoWriMo organization, how these programs work, my previous experience with Camp NaNoWriMo and the real NaNoWriMo (that’s National Novel Writing Month, in case you didn’t know).
Camp NaNoWriMo is NaNoWriMo’s off season challenge that happens every April and July. Participants have to write a book over the span of a month. The word count goals can be 10,000 minimum to 100,000 maximum. You can win prizes and discounts if you complete the challenge on time.
