Hollandus Landing Chapter 177: Waverly Arlington Jr. part XII

There was so much I didn’t know about Sylvester Wheeler.

I never realized that there were things like redlining when it came to housing, preferential treatment in wealthier neighborhoods, and a downturned economy once several small businesses closed down decades ago.

Everything was pretty in Hollandus Landing, but there was a part of me that the environment was a painting masking a canvas of scars. How much did people have to fight to achieve the status of being a utopian community. You might as well have a corporation buy out a town or make one from the ground up.

Yes, there needs to be a false utopia to be represented.
