A bead of sweat chilled my face as I kept playing.
That blue note shouldn’t have been there and my mood almost wanted to match it’s shade.
I vigorously continued on with that piece and I finally came to it’s conclusion. I bowed my head as I heard applause from the three music jurors evaluating my performance.
“That was quite creative.” Said one of the professors.
“Very innovative usage of tetrachords.” The second one noted.
“You’ve done Sylvester Wheeler justice with this piece.” The last one gave their remarks about my piece.
“Thank you.” I quietly responded to all three of them before getting my evaluation papers.
A B? Looks like I need to become better.
