Hollandus Landing Chapter 214: Darina Thornley-Foster part IX

I thought Ayesha was scarier than how I acted when I did that maniacal laughter. Her and Rozenn did intimidate me at several times where I wanted to hide.

Ayesha was so incredibly smart that I couldn’t argue with her. Rozenn was so deadpan and so intelligent about social issues that I felt overwhelmed sometimes. Sure, she didn’t know all about issues involving stuff that half my family (and/or the other tribes that could pass as cousins for me) goes through, but I felt scared to bring it up.

What is a girl like me to do? I wanted to breathe fire, but I was afraid of burning others.

I went back to my script and looked at a different page.
