I finally got out of class and went straight for the library’s computer lab with a jet black flash drive adorned in skull prints in hand.
Inside it was the latest issue of Vanguard Beat, my labor of love. This issue contained interviews with some local death metal bands, some album reviews, and some political op-eds by yours truly.
I was going to print out some of those bad boys and share them with some students and also dropping some off in town at some of the smaller venues.
It was totally worth spending some change to spread the word about Vanguard Beat.
As I finished printing off the last copy, I saw that one mousy girl entering the lab.
I rolled my eyes even though I knew she wasn’t a threat to me.
