I huffed before replying. Like I had any choice in the matter.
“Bring him over to my office.” I dejectedly muttered.
I was alone in my office as everything felt detrimental to my psyche. I was on the top floor of a building. There were several plaques with my science and robotics awards covering the walls. Not to mention I had my own little corner filled with small robotic figures. Some of them could pass as anime giant robots while others looked like they’re from American sci-fi movies.
Then came that inevitable knock on my door.
“Fatty-yah Sock-coiffe?” A male voice came from the other side of my door.
“Yes, I’m here, and my name is pronounced Fa-TEA-Yah Sak-cough.”
Everyone messes up my name, but that would be the least of my worries.
