“No you’re not. I can tell by your voice.” Kalyani dared to correct me.
I was just silent as we continued practicing until the end. I knew Isaiah was still outside the practicing room in my studio and I couldn’t stop thinking about his egotistical manners.
“Hey, Ms. Barnyachev. You weren’t yourself. You usually talk more and are a lot calmer.” She noticed my emotional state. “Well, I hope you get better.” Kalyani waved goodbye. As soon as she left the door, Isaiah just walked right in and his happy-go-lucky demeanor disappeared.
“I had the decency to wait until your student finished. Are you flippin’ happy now?” He crossed his arms in front of me.
