It was finally opening night and the actors floored the audience.
What really shocked me was the curtain call where everyone bowed or curtsied on stage.
Once Darina curtsied in her sorceress garb, she got a ton of flowers. When was the last time you saw the (so-called) villain get most of the bouquets.
That was incredible.
After that first night, we hung out at the cafe and practiced some lines from the script.
“I must protect my kingdom!” She rehearsed.
Amazing how this witch could easily adapt to being a princess.
