These pages surrounded me as I dealt with finals coming up soon.
I just had to work to the best of my abilities to show that I could be at the same caliber as my American peers. I wasn’t worried about getting bad grades, but I did struggle with some of the words since English wasn’t my first language.
I also didn’t want to look stupid when I was around other students even when I reconciled with some of them.
