“You’re too kind, Yasmina. I’ll check out that dance performance.” I told her.
I figured it would be great with her musical skills helping out whatever dancers are a part of this program.
“So how are things with you?” Yasmina asked me.
“You know, just dealing with studying for finals like you are. I also started talking to Ayesha more often which still surprises me.”
“Ayesha? She’s really smart, but I wish she wasn’t so cold towards a lot of people.”
“Part of it was my fault when I bragged about my foreign background and for being rich. That turned her and others off.”
“You were never like that around me though.”
