I sent in my EP to my art teacher and they listened to all three tracks.
I got silence for a few seconds.
Then came the critique.
“This was a bit of a bizarre listen.”
“Yeah, I didn’t want it to sound like typical acoustic music.”
Seiya, why are you making excuses for your own music, man? Get over yourself!
“This experimental EP isn’t something I’d normally listen to…”
Oh, crap. I’m going to get an F.
“But there’s so much potential and the lyrics are top-notch. You get a B for this project.”
Wow, I really dodged a bullet there.
