It wasn’t the most high-paying job, but at least I wasn’t starving as I was an assistant manager of this shop in Downtown Hollandus Landing.
I felt good working there since I knew that everything we sold came from fair trade environments. Whether it was coffee, clothing, toys, chocolate, tea, arts, crafts, and other products, people from several dozen countries would be paid their fair share of their goods.
I had too much dignity to go somewhere else into unsavory corporate environments. Shame that people are blinded by what they do.
Some events around town have been proving me right in so many ways.
