I was in my office stewing and itching.
Those detectives were coming on to the business at hand. I had to make an example to let them know that no one will expose us.
With months of operating in secrecy, I can’t believe that idiot Hayes and his merry men of wannabe detectives was onto my trail.
I had to add a little spice to my secret weapon.
One can say that I needed to shoot for the moon.
