It was up to me to stop all this teenage drama around me.
My secret weapon was laughter in these situations.
“Hey, so why was the candle so happy in a fiction class?”
“I don’t know. Why?”
“Because it was lit!” I responded.
I actually got some laughter after some other people at Hollandus United High School.
Good on them for actually laughing. I could use some laughter after all the craziness I’ve seen and heard about in this city.
