When I got older in my twenties, I discovered his other fictional works and his nonfictional bibliography.

I was shock by how stark some of the contrast was.

There were articles of his that dealt with modern redlining in my own hometown by economic value and including race? I refused to believe it since it didn’t affect me.

I still enjoyed his fantasy works. They were great stories nonetheless and those situations could never happen in real life.

I mean, it’s not like there’s a leader in Hollandus Landing that would mistreat others. I wasn’t that person.
