It wasn’t a girly thing to do, but I watched it whenever I could. I was surprised that there was commentary and promos dubbed in Serbian, so I could understand what was going on.
Truth be told, I learned some English by copying some of the promos the wrestlers would cut. My parents would be annoyed when I would say “Woo!”, “Dig it!”, or “American Dream.”
There was a part of me that wanted to be a hero fighting whatever heels were out there and possibly with superpowers to make it better.
That little Dragoslava would get her wish, but not in the way she wanted.
