This was just a replica drawing where I fused art with my calligraphic skills. It was me painting the words “truth and unity” in different languages.
English.
Thai.
Arabic.
Spanish.
German.
Japanese.
That and several other languages would be used for this project. Luckily, there was the internet to translate everything.
Why did I pick those words in particular?
I wanted people to be in a world without lies while also coming together. I know not everyone will get along with each other with every waking moment, but it’s a desire I wanted to come true as sappy as it sounded.
Those two facets could have glued civilizations together whether they’re real or fictional.
As with others in Hollandus Landing, one can guess which author inspired this work.
