There was the untapped potential of it being a healthy fuel source despite the mysterious origins as it’s archetype was harnessed from outside this atmosphere.
Inter-dimensional energy could have offered new industries, employment, and could benefit humankind as it was pollution-free.
Just because it was a clean source, doesn’t mean it wasn’t deadly. The weaponized nature of it hurt more than it helped when Exomoon was in the wrong hands.
