I heard some people snickering before we stopped and told to repeat the movement before it got to our part.
The second go at it went a lot smoother, but my hands got shaky. These notes were technically in-tune, but they were wavering down to the tiniest megahertz (not that I was an acoustician or anything like that).
After practice, the conductor/music teacher pulled me aside.
“Hosea, what’s going on?”
