“It would be great if I could collaborate with someone for once.” I said to Corinne. “Maybe my drawings could have some purpose.”
“You mean it?” Corinne wondered.
“Of course I do. I hope you work on Aerial Sovereignty.”
“Sure thing. Well, at least when I’m not dealing with a ton of homework or other school projects.” She giggled a bit. “It can be a struggle with these classes at Mount Saint Joseph.”
Dang! That sounds rough. No wonder I haven’t seen her at Rutland High. She went to a rival private school in town.
“I’ll do my best to survive my last two years in high school and try to write this thing.”
I certainly wanted to survive them, too.
