“You’re going to Skidmore? Congratulations!” I showered her with adulation.
“Yeah. I’m going for that science degree. I’m nervous about living in a dorm one state away, but I’ll do my best to make it work once I go there next year.” Corinne admitted.
“I’m really happy for you, Corinne. You’ll do awesome at that college.” I further complimented her. “Hey, how’s the novel coming along now?”
“I’m on page ninety-eight right now. Haydee is in the midst of a big fight against the tyrannical regime.” She explained.
“Awesome! I can’t wait until you finish that book.”
“Sure thing. You’ll know when its ready to be published.”
