Gateway to the Empyrean: Cirrocumulus 99

It was eight years ago when I graduated from Rutland High School.

It looked like a tiny speck amongst the multitude of green going on down there.

“Yes, this is Breckenridge here. I’m ready to land at the Rutland Southern Vermont Regional Airport.” I chimed in on my radio.

I descended to the green mountain state and I landed safely on the tarmac.

Once I stepped out of the plane, I saw Corinne wearing a green scarf and she held onto a helmet.

“Ready to be the first passenger, Doctor Glaisyer?” I said to her.

“Of course, Captain Breckenridge!” She laughed before putting her helmet on and entering this plane.
